To reap its benefits, AI and datacenter providers are ambitiously multiplying their hardware capacity at an unprecedented rate. Meanwhile, humanity is also facing the largest existential crisis it has ever encountered: the climate crisis.

At Durabilité.ai (sustainability in French), our goal is to ensure that the upscaling of AI aligns with humanity’s imperative to greenify its energy usage and minimize its environmental impact—such as water overuse, water pollution, heat pollution, noise pollution, and more.

The future we are striving for is one where humans can enjoy the advantages of AI within a stable climate comparable to the pre-industrial era.
